A strong, well-planned induction is essential when welcoming a new manager into a care service. Whether they are an experienced manager joining a new organisation or stepping into management for the first time, having the right support during those early weeks can make a significant difference to their confidence, performance and long-term success. At RHB Care Consultancy, we work alongside providers and newly appointed managers to develop and deliver tailored induction and onboarding programmes that reflect the needs of the individual and the service. We can support managers to understand their regulatory responsibilities, CQC expectations, governance systems, quality assurance processes and key areas of service oversight. We can also review existing induction arrangements, identify areas where additional support may be required and provide ongoing guidance throughout the induction and probation period. Support can be delivered in person or remotely via Microsoft Teams, providing a flexible approach tailored to the needs of your manager and organisation.
